As an Assistant Manager you will be playing a key role supporting senior colleagues in preparing audit strategy, managing a small portfolio and organising & reviewing work. About the External Audit Service Line

As an Assistant Manager - ICV some of your responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing financial statements and ICV calculations: Ensuring ICV scores are reasonable.
- Examining financial records and documents: Verifying accuracy and compliance.
- Conducting inquiries and assessments: Evaluating internal controls and processes.
- Participating in ICV CB calls: Providing insights and clarifications.
- Building client relationships: Understanding expectations and delivering high-quality services.
- Supervising and training associates: Providing guidance and feedback.
- Analyzing engagement economics: Identifying variances and opportunities.
- Identifying new business opportunities: Leveraging GT client portfolio and expertise.
- Thought leadership and business development: Writing articles, engaging on social media, and pursuing external business opportunities.
- Ensuring compliance and quality: Adhering to risk, quality, and independence standards.
- Managing file completion and review: Ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Collaborating with diverse teams: Ensuring effective communication and meeting deadlines.
- Participating in digital initiatives: Upskilling and contributing to team business needs.

- Preferably with a professional qualification (ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA).
- At least 2 years of experience working with ICV clients in a Big 6 firm.
- Strong knowledge of accounting reporting and auditing standards.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Ability to manage projects effectively.
- Experience in leading engagement teams.
- Ability to research issues and present alternatives and conclusions to clients.
- Experience in designing procedures based on risk and materiality.
