About the Assurance Service Line

Providing a wide range of Audit and Assurance services to private, public and international companies across various sectors. We work closely with over 700 companies annually, ranging from SMEs to international listed companies. The client base is exciting and fast growing. As a Manager some of your responsibilities will include:

Audit Delivery & Technical Leadership

ü  Lead planning, execution, and completion of external audits for clients dealing in digital and virtual assets

ü  Develop audit strategies tailored to crypto asset risks, including valuation, existence, ownership, and custody

ü  Review and challenge audit workpapers, ensuring compliance with ISA, IFRS, and firm methodology

ü  Assess controls and processes over blockchain transactions, wallet management, and private key security

ü  Evaluate accounting treatment of crypto assets, tokens, staking, and related transactions

ü  Address complex audit issues, escalating key risks to the Partner and proposing practical solutions

ü  Ensure all engagements are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Digital Asset Specialism

ü  Act as a subject matter expert on digital asset audit engagements across the firm

ü  Interpret blockchain data, transaction flows, and on-chain audit evidence

ü  Coordinate with IT audit, data analytics, and specialist teams where required

ü  Remain up to date with evolving standards, including crypto-related accounting guidance and regulatory expectations (e.g., DFSA, VARA where applicable)

ü  Support development of audit methodologies specific to digital assets and emerging technologies

Client Management & Business Development

ü  Manage a portfolio of audit clients, building strong relationships and acting as a key point of contact

ü  Present audit findings and insights clearly to senior client stakeholders

ü  Identify opportunities to expand services within digital asset and fintech sectors

ü  Support proposals, pitches, and growth initiatives for the digital asset audit practice

Team Leadership & People Development

ü  Manage, coach, and review work of Senior Associates and Associates

ü  Provide ongoing feedback and support professional development of team members

ü  Allocate resources across engagements and ensure efficient utilisation

ü  Foster a high-performance culture, particularly in complex and fast-evolving engagements

ü  Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)

ü  Additional certifications in blockchain, fintech, or IT audit (preferred but not required)

ü  At least five years of external audit experience within an international professional service firm

ü  Hands-on experience auditing digital assets, crypto exchanges, or blockchain-based businesses

ü  Extensive knowledge of IFRS (including treatment of digital assets), ISA and audit methodology, blockchain fundamentals and transaction flows

ü  Experience working with complex and technical audit engagements
