As a Manager, you'll lead client engagements and become a primary point of contact for key clients. You'll take on a leadership role in business development, identifying opportunities to expand services and enhance client relationships. Additionally, you'll ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, provide strategic oversight, and play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of FRAS initiatives.

About the Financial Reporting Advisory Services (FRAS) Service Line    

Where precision meets passion! Our GT UAE FRAS team provides essential advisory services in financial accounting, focusing on complex reporting standards, transaction support, and optimizing financial controls. Joining our team means being part of a dynamic group that empowers companies to achieve transparency, compliance, and excellence in financial reporting.  The FRAS team sits within our Assurance service line and works closely with a range of clients across different industry sectors.

As a Manager some of your responsibilities will include:

• Provide IFRS technical support to GT teams in UAE for complex IFRS matters
• Prepare internal guidance from consultations
• Update research, learning materials, and tools for accounting
• Participate in thought leadership on new and emerging accounting issues
• Contribute to standard setter projects and industry-specific content

Think you've got what it takes to be a Manager? Like the colour purple? Great. Here's a few more boxes we're also hoping you can tick:

• 6+ years of experience in Accounting Advisory in a top international consulting firm
• Strong IFRS and GAAPs knowledge
• ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Track record of providing accounting input for complex IFRS accounting matters
• Experience and enthusiasm for business development activities
• Effective time management and commitment to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent organisation, planning and project management abilities
• Ability to lead a diverse team and build effective client relationships
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office
• Strong written and spoken English; Arabic speaking is advantageous
• Willingness and ability to work additional hours, as needed, and travel to various client sites
