As a Valuations Manager in the Financial Advisory team, you’ll be responsible for supporting in all phases of project and engagement management for business valuations across a wide variety of industries. Responsibilities include planning, directing, and completing projects and services and developing and managing staff. You’ll work closely with senior colleagues and play a key role in client management, practice development and business development. About the M&A and Transactions Advisory Service Line
Join our dynamic M&A and Transactions Advisory Services team, where we excel across the entire deal lifecycle. From strategic origination and expert corporate finance advice in M&A transactions to comprehensive valuation services and rigorous due diligence, we ensure our clients navigate transactions with confidence. Our expertise extends to SPA advisory for safeguarding financial interests, acting as independent financial advisors for IPOs, and guiding various corporate transactions including financial modeling, fundraising, and debt advisory. As a Manager some of your responsibilities will include:
- Strong in-depth technical and commercial knowledge of valuation principles, methodologies and processes
- Experienced in carrying out and managing valuations for different purposes (M&A transactions, financial reporting, disputes, fundraisings, deal structuring etc.)
- Responsible for leading and managing a high-achieving collaborative team, performing market analysis and researching transactions, industries and financial information
- Planning for engagements including key issues, methodology and budget as well as the ability to work effectively in teams to tight deadlines where required
- Ability to quickly grasp key business drivers and specific valuation issues in the context of the situation and have a commercial mindset
- Preparing or participating in preparing and reviewing complex financial models, and providing clear and concise reporting and commentary on findings with high quality deliverables
- Sharing experience and knowledge and developing other team members through the deal process
- Understanding the processes involved in a valuation assignment including dealing with risk management processes and procedures
- Ability to project manage effectively internally and externally to ensure effective communication with all relevant stakeholders
- Developing internal and external networks; adopting a business development mindset; and maintaining and strengthening relationships with current and prospective clients of the firm
Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other relevant fields
- 5+ years of experience within Valuations in a consulting firm or other related fields
- Qualified level candidate of professional qualification in an industry leading certification such as the CFA, CBV, ASA, ACA, ACCA or CPA
- Experience of managing change projects across a variety of industries
- A flexible working style and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a multi-cultural environment
- Strong written and spoken English. Arabic speaking would be advantageous
- Willingness and ability to work additional hours, as needed, and travel to various client sites
