About the Business Risk Services Line

Discover tailored risk solutions with our BRS team. As a Senior Consultant some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing audit planning documents and terms of reference prior to client meetings and incorporating all required updates
  • Preparing proposals and engagement submissions for review by the line manager
  • Planning fieldwork activities and preparing all required documentation for internal review
  • Executing IT and information security audits, including compliance reviews against regional and international regulatory requirements
  • Performing risk assessments and technical security evaluations, including detailed gap analyses, and recommending practical remediation measures
  • Delivering financial risk management assignments across capital, liquidity, credit, market risk, stress testing, internal models, data quality, and risk reporting
  • Conducting current‑state assessments and designing Target Operating Models (TOM) for risk and security functions
  • Supporting the development and enhancement of risk and security policies, procedures, and standards 
  • Acting as a trusted advisor on risk management frameworks, information security governance, and regulatory best practices
  • Facilitating client workshops, presenting observations, and guiding clients in developing and implementing remediation plans
  • Assisting clients in resolving issues and ensuring successful implementation of agreed action plans
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholder
  • Preparing high‑quality reports, presentations, and close‑out documentation for engagements
  • Formulating clear and practical recommendations tailored to client needs and constraints
  • Overseeing fieldwork quality through file reviews and preparing deliverables for senior management approval 
  • Demonstrating strong understanding of internal audit methodologies and quality assurance requirements 
  • Leading and supervising junior team members throughout the audit lifecycle, including planning, execution, and exit meetings
  • Supporting financial performance activities such as billing, income collection, profitability budgeting, and engagement oversight 
  • Contributing to target profit measures by managing engagement efficiency and resource utilization

Skills

Think you've got what it takes to be a Senior Consultant? Like the color purple? Great. Here's a few more boxes we're also hoping you can tick:

  • Bachelors Degree in information security, cyber security, computer sciences, information systems or other relevant fields
  • Bringing 3 – 5+ years of relevant experience in IT and Information Security Audit, ideally within a consulting environment, with combined industry and consulting exposure being advantageous
  • Holding or pursuing professional certifications such as ISSP, CEH, ECSA, CISA, or ISO 27001
  • Demonstrating knowledge of industry standards including ISO 27001, NESA, UAE‑IA, PCI‑DSS and similar frameworks
  • Gaining hands‑on experience in technical testing and security reviews of on‑premises and cloud environments including vulnerability management, BCM, BCP, firewall configuration, SIEM, SOC operations, Microsoft 365, and data privacy and protection
  • Bringing experience with ERP technologies (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft) and exposure to Banking or Government sectors being preferred
  • Managing multiple engagements and competing priorities in a fast‑paced, interactive, results‑driven consulting environment
  • Documenting testing procedures and results in a detailed and precise manner
  • Communicating effectively through strong verbal, written, and presentation skills in English, with Arabic being advantageous
  • Applying strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Using Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity tools with proficiency
  • Working additional hours and traveling regularly to client sites as needed
  • Demonstrating confidence, independence, and a structured approach to managing responsibilities
